It was made by Annie and myself when I visited Miami in May 2011.
This video was made for Stop Hating Your Body, a blog created by Annie (which I moderate) and it aims to show the truth about body insecurities.
We wanted to put out a message, that you can love yourself and that everyone has issues and securities. You are not alone.
This video presents two major influences in bad body image; pressure from family and peers, and the promotion of ideal beauty in the media. We see these girls hit their lowest point to then find it within themselves to start the climb back up, to start the journey to self-acceptance and self-love, to stop hating their bodies.
